Contrast Improvement

Many old black and white photographs suffer contrast fading that can render them dull and lifeless. Scanning old negatives and photographs and then applying digital techniques brings them back to life.
This well executed high school football team photo was alive with individual personalities. The ensuing years have taken a toll resulting in a lifeless image. By scanning the original photo, then applying digital techniques, this scene from 1926 is rejuvenated with the addition of contrast and the highlighting of prominent details.
